Still Alive

Another stressful period in my campus life has passed. I still have a test coming up, but that isn't until next tuesday. I've been insanely busy these pass couple of weeks and haven't had the time to post, or even really do my hair. Can you believe I haven't washed my hair since last Wednesday?!

But I should be back on a regular posting schedule starting now. No promises though! ^^

I'm Still Alive

I just wanted to pop in an let you all know that I'm still here. I've been extremely busy lately and haven't had much time for any kind of internet activity. But I did take a night off from thinking about school last night and had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I must say my hair was banging.

I did a braid out the night before and sectioned off a piece for a hump in the front. I left it in all day since I was doing school work all day and barely left my room. That night I took the braids out and put the hump up, and put the curls in the back into a banana clip. It was very cute. With a pair of big earrings a very chic style.

Wash Day Product Review - Silk Elements Luxury Conditioner

I washed my hair on Tuesday. I pre-pooed with Sauve Humectant. Then I washed with my Creme of Nature shampoo. I did a light conditioning with my Long Term Relationship and then deep conditioned with my sample pack of Silk Elements Luxury Conditioner.

This stuff actually was very good. The conditioner was very thick, but it smoothed into my hair well. After leaving it on for roughy 30 minutes I rinsed it out and combed through. My hair detangled like a breeze. Then I did a braidout. I used Silk Elements Silken Child and My Long Term Relationship Leave In. The next morning my hair came out really well. I love it. It was very shiny and curly. I will definelty be purchasing this conditioner again.

Rainy Days

Today is a miserable looking day. Its raining and cold. And its not like Miami rain which last for a few minutes. Its a light persistent rain that hasn't let up since 8 this morning. I wore my hair down with a hump in the front....bad idea. By the time I got to my class my ends were soaked and I didn't put oil onto my hair this morning. I came back to my dorm, went to another class, came back again, and my hair is even worse than before. I can just tell that my ends are going to be poufy later. I applied oil to my hair and combed it out. Hopefully it will dry somewhat tamed.
