My Hair Obsession - Bantu Knots

Bantu Knots are really a big part of my routine. I put them in my hair when it comes to every styling need. They're great for sectioning, great for getting your hair out the way, they give your hair a cute curl. Its a very useful technique.
One of the best things about bantu knots is the fact that they protect your ends. After washing my hair I keep my sectioned hair in bantu knots. This keeps my ends wet until I'm able to get to them, which is actually very important when setting your hair.

Here are the steps to achieving a perfect knot.
  1. Section your hair. I usually do around four knots. Two in the front and back. I add one in the front center if I plan on doing a hump.
  2. Twist each section firmly.
  3. Then, twist the hair around itself forming a knot.
  4. Apply a clip on the ends of the hair to keep it in place.
Its a very simple thing to do and you'll become very quick at it with practice.
